Installation Instructions
The accessory plate contained in this package is a luxury product that requires the greatest care in installation and maintenance.
– Installation must be carried out by a competent Installer and in compliance with the regulations in force. Firstly, it is imperative that the correct back box is selected and installed perfectly level.
– Then, it is strongly recommended to fix the accessory plate to the walls only when the plastering, painting or covering of the walls has been fully completed.
– If touching up of paintwork is required after the accessory plates have been installed, the faceplates must be removed from the wall and protected to avoid damage.
– Do not use any form of adhesive tape, such a masking tape or other self-sticking products on the faceplates as this may cause damage.
– For mechanisms , they must be installed to the wall using a screwdriver compatible with the screw head. Do not use a power screwdriver.
– If the chassis and mechanisms are installed before the plates, it is strongly recommended not to paint the outside of the mechanisms this may cause problems with the installation of the faceplate.
How to maintain your luxury product
-Under no circumstances use abrasive or corrosive cleaning products to maintain the faceplates. Only dry cleaning with a soft microfibre cloth is recommended. A soft protective fabric is provided with your product, which can be kept to protect your faceplate should you ever need to remove it. As the equipment is protected by a varnish, these precautions are necessary to ensure the products retain the qualities of their original finish.
-Any foreign body or tool that comes into contact with the faceplate will likely cause damage to the plate finish.
